starship_earth_the_big_picture_NEW_header_8This post from BP confirms it... We are all going through "stuff", and perhaps many need a "break" (whatever those "words" mean).

Perhaps we'll get together when she visits the Big Island.

Burn-Out in the Blogosphere

It must be going around.

Kauilapele posted his take on this the other day and I had to laugh because he is feeling the same way I am. We need a break; a change. KP has covered the Hawai'ian Kingdom saga exhaustively and frankly, I don't know how he did it as long as he did, but no one could have done it as well. DO take that break, KP. You deserve it.

You may have noticed I haven't been posting a lot lately, and I will have my breaks because mid-October we're off to Beverly Hills again for a fine art festival, then home for a few days and then off to Hawaii for a week.

I don't know how he does it, but hubby surprised me with a vacation on the big island to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.

He's never been, but I've visited three other islands. I look forward to our relaxed week in a Kona coast condo, exploring the volcano, playing on black, white and green beaches, watching the sunsets and trying to ignore what is going on in the rest of the world.

This isn't a photo op as most of our trips are, so it will be play it by ear, with no island hopping and no schedules. Pure heaven.

The energies have shifted in my world and I no longer feel an "obligation" to share all the news. There's been a shift in focus, I guess, and I don't want an agenda. I will share when I get the urge. Starship Earth has racked up a grand total of 10 million hits effective Sept. 27th and that's quite a milestone.

tired dogThere is more to life than blogging, and rather than war, war, and more war, more fake false flag shootings and the insane American political circus, I will probably share items of more interest to me. Goodness knows there are plenty of people sharing the depressing news. You all know where to find it.

Maybe after my breaks I'll feel differently, but for now, I'm just going with the flow. No swimming upstream.

I'd rather keep it lighter, and for that reason I particularly enjoyed Drake and Thomas Williams' Cosmic Voice show last week. They made it fun, and I'm sharing a song they played because it provided the levity I needed at that time and I laughed out loud.

I'd never heard it before, and it was perfect for the times in which we now find ourselves. No matter what I personally do or don't do, we will "unf*ckitup". Eventually.
