disinfo_not_1The Gordon Duff article posted here yesterday was also posted at RMN here. MrFusion wrote a response to it which someone noted in a comment on the KP FaceBook page.

I looked at it, and to me, I saw point after point that I felt was a type of "disinfo". This goes on all the time, particularly with anything Obama. "Obama said this", "Obama said that", "Obama is this", "Obama is that", "Obama is leading this country into destruction", etc. Many many times what is stated or written is not actually what Obama said. Replace the name "Obama" with certain others, and you can get the same thing.

If you search for "disinfo" on this blog (http://kauilapele.wordpress.com/?s=disinfo), you'll find several articles that touch on this. In particular I like the one about Rachel Maddow, "Rachel Maddow on 4-24-13… "A Lesson in How to 'Push' Disinformation"...". It presents a list of disinfo tactics that I saw in her show.

In the end, I know it is up to each one to discern for themselves what "rings true" for them, and what does not. Just because one person gets a "ring" from a piece of information, does not mean another will. We each have our own sense of "Guidance" that I feel is there to keep us on our path. And not be distracted onto someone else'. So see how this short exchange sits with you.

There are a couple more "disinfo tactics" links at the end of this.

In Response To: Reader, link: Duff - "During the last months of the Bush administration, a Secret Shadow Government (SSG) was created to sabotage President Obama, ..." (hobie)

In an interview (I think it was this one I posted last summer) I seem to remember Gordon Duff himself once said that a significant percentage of what he writes is altered somewhat from the real situation in order to not incur the wrath of those who might decide to take him out, and one should filter out the parts that don't seem to fit to see the real content.

I think Duff's piece linked in the preceding post may be an example of that. Duff has always spoken favorable of Obama even though most of Duff's other output seems to contradict that. For him to say that the Obama administration has been "sabotaged" by hidden Bushoid influence, would suggest that all the negative changes that have occurred were not intended by the Obama cabal, which flies in the face of all the evidence. It has always seemed to me that Obama is Bush III and that his administration has been an integral part of the Bush cabal, in a dialectic sense of achieving the parts of the Bush plans that come from the left side of the fence. Presumably the Bush cabal plan will be to switch to the right side of the fence to continue the operation from that angle again. But nobody has been sabotaged. They are all on the same team.

I think much of what is claimed by Duff about nefarious activities during the Obama Administration is true, except for the "sabotage" angle. The Obama cabal have always hated what America stands for, and are perfectly okay with the Bushies' continuing efforts to run America into the ground for their own gain.

My response to that posting...

From what I see in that comment article above, it very much fits the pattern of a "disinfo spreading" piece.

From that piece above, here's what I see...

1. "...an interview (I think it was this one I posted last summer) I SEEM TO REMEMBER...
2. "I THINK Duff's piece linked in the preceding post may be an example of that...
3. "...by the OBAMA CABAL..."
4. "I THINK much of what is claimed by Duff..."
5. "The Obama cabal HAVE ALWAYS HATED what America stands for..."
6. "[The Obama cabal] ARE PERFECTLY OKAY with the Bushies' continuing efforts to run America into the ground..."

# 1, 2, 4 contain either "I think" or "I seem to remember". No data or facts offered in evidence, just presumption and implication.
# 3 contains "Obama cabal". Implication a) that there is an "Obama cabal", and b) it is set up (organized) under Obama's direct leadership, and therefore c) Obama = dark cabal member.
# 5 NO data presented, just a statement. How does this person know what the "Obama cabal" "have always hated"? What data shows this? Speeches? Personal conversations? I see this as a grand implication. NOT a statement of data.
# 6 NO data presented, just a statement.

This is precisely, as I understand it, how the disinfo spreading teams like to operate. State something, present no facts, just imply it.

Fox news (and other MSM outlets) are masters at that.
