liz_wahl_and_kirchukThis is not my usual type of "blog posting" article, but it struck something within me, and I felt it illustrates how nothing is able to avoid the light of transparency these days.

What? Someone Staging a Resignation for Career Reasons? Could that really happen? Well, of course it could. I found this tonight at VT: http://www.veteranstoday.com/2014/03/20/political-outburst-of-sacked-rt-anchor-wahl-was-staged

Which led to this article at TruthDig.com: http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/how_cold_war-hungry_neocons_stage_managed_liz_wahls_resignation_20140319

So it looks like some resignations are as staged as, say, political uprisings in countries where certain cabal type groups want to come in and "save the day" and put in their own form of "government" ("Ukraine, anyone?" "Crimea, anyone?").

Anyway, I never quite felt this "Liz Wahl" resignation deal was anything really important. And what she said about RT, just had, in my view, no wind to it. Then she started appearing on all these TV interviews, and when I saw Jon Stewart (or was it Colbert?) interviewed her, I knew something was out of place.

So I post the links above (the TruthDig article is the more extensive one), and a couple of snips from that.

"Behind the coverage of Wahl's dramatic protest, a cadre of neoconservatives was celebrating a public relations coup. Desperate to revive the Cold War, head off further cuts to the defense budget and restore the legitimacy they lost in the ruins of Iraq, the tightknit group of neoconservative writers and stewards had opened up a new PR front through Wahl's resignation.
