Today I'm playing music at the Kona Sunset Farmers Market in the K-Mart parking lot. I've not done this for some months now, and when the opportunity arose, I felt it was my time to do this... for today.
Sometimes I don't like all the stuff I have to get together to take down there, and go through a checklist I have... take this and that and this and that...
But, I got up this morning and wanted to try "Ku Ha'aheo", by Kumu HIna. I started singing it and the tears began to flow, as I saw a video of her working with children in her halau.
I consider this a "Special Day" because eight people were arrested by the "DLNR Corporation" police early this morning on the Mauna. Apparently it was a surprise visit.
So we hold all of this in the Light.
Today, I am performing in the light, and for the Light.
Aloha, Kp
