Camaro in the Ali'i Drive volleyball court.
This is from Big Island Video News. Lots of great videos about various places over here which have got tonnes of rain.
As I mentioned in this morning's Kp Radio Hawaii show, I see this as a major cleansing of the area, clearing of the old paradigms and nourishing of the new.

VIDEO: Alii Drive, Kona Flash Floods Captured On Social Media
September 16, 2015 at 10:26 am
KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii – The flash flooding that snarled Alii Drive on Tuesday evening came suddenly, however thanks to the power of social media the weather event was covered from every angle.
Onlookers said the water was up to the Kailua Village seawall at one point, creating a scene that resembled the March 2011 tsunami.
ABOVE: Dale Renner, filming from the balcony of Humpy's Ale House, captured footage of a hapless Camero driver getting stuck on Alii Drive, apparently panicked by the rising waters.
ABOVE: Dr. Sandy Cameli uploaded this view of Alii Drive from the same location.
ABOVE: This is what it looked like on Kuakini Highway, as "Matt and John rescue Marah" from the flood. On Tuesday evening, police closed Kuakini at the Oni Oni Street intersection due to the heavy ponding and run off.
ABOVE: Youtuber Kiele Bear caught this video from the second floor of the Kailua Village Condominium in Kailua Kona.
ABOVE: There was also flooding in the mauka areas. Video of the harrowing drive was posted to YouTube by "Cybythesea Ohana Tube".
The National Weather Service says daytime heating on Wednesday will continue to trigger afternoon showers over the leeward Big Island slopes and coast, and that "unsettled weather and locally heavy rainfall is possible again this weekend as an upper level disturbance moves toward the islands from the northeast."
