All Monsanto GMO Cornfields Burned Down in Hungary (8-31-15)

Hungary is a nation where genetically modified seeds are banned along with other genetically modified ingredients. "Almost 1000 acres of maize found to have been ground with genetically modified seeds have been destroyed throughout Hungary, deputy state secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development Lajos Bognar said. The GMO maize has been ploughed under, said Lajos Bognar, but pollen has not spread from the maize, he added.""

French Court Finds Monsanto Guilty of Chemical Poisoning (9-11-15)

"An appeals court in Lyon, France has upheld a 2012 ruling against Monsanto, in which the agribusiness giant was found guilty of the chemical poisoning a farmer named Paul François.

"Yesterday's ruling, however, stamps another victory for the farmer. The appeals court said Monsanto was "responsible" for the intoxication and ordered the company to "fully compensate" François, Reuters reported. "It is a historic decision in so far as it is the first time that a (pesticide) maker is found guilty of such a poisoning," François Lafforgue, François' lawyer, told the news agency."

California Just Announced It Will Label Monsanto's Roundup as Cancer Causing (9-12-15)

"California just dealt Monsanto a blow as the state's Environmental Protection Agency will now list glyphosate — the toxic main ingredient in the U.S.' best-selling weedkiller, Roundup — as known to cause cancer.

"California's decision to place glyphosate on the toxic chemicals list is the first of its kind."

Mayan People's Movement Defeats Monsanto Law in Guatemala (9-15-14) (Holy Crap, this one's from 2014... oh well, I'm still posting it)
