This is quite major. I've not been using my laptop keyboard, as several keys stopped working all of a sudden. I got a standard USB keyboard which I've been using the past few days.
So somewhere I found out that you could buy replacement keyboards and install them yourself. So to eBay and $10 later, it came in yesterday. After viewing a YouTube video on how to do it, I did it!!
I am now in a new keyboard dimension.
There's a few other items that are going on with the laptop (about 5 years old), and not sure if I'll tackle those or not, or just get a new laptop and keep this as a backup.
But something about doing it oneself that I felt was significant enough to post.
