hawaiian_kingdom_shield_33This article was posted on 5-20-15 at the Kingdom of Hawai'i blog. This is regarding an approach being taken by the Kingdom of Hawai'i (Ali`i Nui Mō`ī Edmund K. Silva, Jr.) to assist one of the people arrested on Mauna a Wākea (Mauna Kea.

As some may recall reading earlier, one of the people arrested on Mauna Kea flew to Canada where war crimes were filed with Canadian authorities (post 1, post 2). What is happening here is a different approach. I will give my interpretation, to the best of my understanding.

The Kingdom of Hawai'i has a Supreme Court. The Chief Justice is Jennifer Pawlowski (see this prior interview at Kp blog). What has been done here is to file an action (petition (pdf)) from both Ali`i Nui Mō`ī Edmund K. Silva, Jr. (King) and the Mauna Kea arrestee, with the Kingdom of Hawai'i Supreme Court (NOT the county of Hawai'i, NOT the State of Hawaii, NOT the US government).

From the Kingdom blog, "These actions seek more than 30 different rulings from the Court regarding the continued existence of the Kingdom of Hawai'i". Copies of these actions (pleadings) have been sent to Hawai'i County, the State, the US Attorney General, and TMT. They have six days after receipt of these to respond to the court (Kingdom of Hawai'i Court; see the order, here (pdf)).

Now we wait and see what Hawai'i County, the State, the US AG, and TMT, do... How will they respond? I know there are further actions being taken as I write this. I will update as things progress.

I post the "Petition for Declaratory Judgment" below, then redirect you to the Kingdom blog to read the rest.

Posted on May 20, 2015 by Ali`i Mana`o Nui Lanny Sinkin

The King and Alapa'i Kaulia, one of those arrested on Mauna a Wakea, have now filed identical actions before the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Hawai'i, Chief justice Jennifer Pawlowski, presiding. These actions seek more than 30 different rulings from the Court regarding the continued existence of the Kingdom of Hawai'i. The Hawai'i County Prosecutor received service of the pleadings on Monday, May 18. Service is also in process to the Attorney General of the United States, the Attorney General of Hawai'i, and an attorney representing the Thirty Meter Telescope.

The pleadings are included and may be viewed below.
