I felt some message coming in about now, and wasn't sure what it was. Then I saw this RT post:
#HajjSelfie goes viral on Twitter, sparks outrage from Muslim clerics
And read a bit about all "the outrage" from "clerics"...
"Millions of Muslims traveling to Mecca have caught "selfie fever," angering some Muslim clerics for snapping pictures of themselves at holy sites during the annual Hajj pilgrimage."
This is why I do not currently take part in any religion, or church, or self-help group, or anything else like it.
Because it's when you read or hear things like, "You are going to Hell (or are a blasphemer, or wrongdoer) if you [are, do, say, write, practice] [don't go to church on Sunday, don't go to a self help group meeting every day, wear these clothes, wear those clothes, wear no clothes, have sex, don't have sex, have gay sex. straight sex, bilingual sex, upside down sex, live alone, live with parents, live with chickens, have money, don't have any money, eat organic foods, don't eat organic foods, live in a large house, live in a small house, live in a car, live in a boat, live in a 5th wheel (although those types are quite strange folks, I know a couple of them), and whatever else you can think of], that you realize...
As far as I am concerned, it's all a personal inner choice, based upon your own BEingness.
Personally, I've been assisted by many groups, people, teachers, ministers, ministresses, miniseries... and that is fine.
But at this particular moment, however, I know the only thing I'm interested in listening to are within me, and if it resonates to do something, be somewhere, dress in this way, follow a Guidance, etc., I do it, be it, dress it, follow it.
No, I do not understand every spiritual path out there. And I am not going to try to. The only thing I can say about this "selfie" thing is, that I hope I someday get a selfie like this guy!!
