"These NATO moves are playing out just VT has been expecting, and not something that was hard to do. The Baltic States are indefensible and without their NATO chains they could sit out a war as neutrals refusing to get involved, which would be a smart play.

"Will Putin release McCain's POW collaborator file?... As the United States imposes additional sanctions on Russian individuals under the Magnitsky Act, US Senator John McCain claims that he considers sanctions placed against him by Russia to be a "badge of honor."
"On Monday, the US Department of the Treasury announced that it would add five Russian citizens to its sanctions list... Moscow categorized this decision as "another blow to bilateral relations" between the countries, and imposed counter-sanctions on several US individuals.
"The US and its European allies imposed harsh sanctions against Russia following Crimea's reunification in 2014. While meant to target Russia, the sanctions have had a negative economic blowback on the many European economies who rely on favorable trade relations with Moscow."
